Chapter 3

Me and lulu exit the show as if from a dream, we then show our passes and are welcomed into the rosemout VIP bar. I grab a free beverage of sparkling wine, sit and chat with lulu about the days events, suddenly i spot a familiar looking face across the crowd, "oh my, lulu, look! its that stylist chick!, you know? the one who went out with the designer?" "oh wow" she replied, I approach the well known socialite to compliment her on her impeccable choice in footwear, "im sorry, but babe, your shoes are really hot!" i say in a non-sealant yet utterly nice way. Making sure not to turn her head too far in my direction, or to give me the pleasure of too much eye contact, the woman (whom i will call octapusy) looked me up and down, lifted her eyebrow in a "why the hell are you talking to me" kind of way and walked away. I stared for a second, wondering if she was going to come back and smile in a joking way, or order me to be thrown out of the vip section. I turn to lulu "god what a bitch" i say, lulu frowning and nodding empathetically.
It was now time for the next show, and again, me and lulu walk in, without hastle; past the people and the guards and sat in the second row. The shows that follow were to boring, tacky and well, just plain bad, "eww!" the noise lept out of lulu's mouth as the the show started and the first garment woddled its way onto that runway. Me and lulu glare at each other every once in a while to make sure that the feeling was mutual , and it was mutual. When the show finished me and lulu left our seats to run off to the bar.
A flash of my pearly whites and our admittance is granted, lulu and I sit and enjoy a beverage, and the seemingly endless glances of jealous women looking at mary's tall thin stature and, ofcourse, those Chanel sunnies!.
The day had ended for us then, i leave and so does lulu... "ill wake you up tomorow ok?" she says "ok" i reply"

chapter 2:

i stair at the woman at the front counter blankly for a moment, then, with out even thinking blurt out exactly the words needed, "hi, my name is ******* im oliver doe's head assistant" (oliver joe being a friend and one of the most renound make up and hair artists in australia) "and i need to register him for some shows, darling, can you help me?" the woman, almost instantly refers me to the VIP desk where we are asked exacltly which shows Mr. Doe would like to see, i give the desk clark a list. "Ginger and Smart!?" she says, "that starts right now!", i give a few fake calls to Mr. Doe and say that he wants me to go in his place, suddenly, an allocated assistant is dragging me and lulu trough security, past a crowd as long as my ex boyfriend's- well- you know, anywho, we are seated in a flash, cameras flash at every turn. The show begins.
a beautiful blur of silk chiffon, purple leathers, eye-poping colours, patterned gowns, synced cuts, flowing gowns- not in a tacky way- but you know, in a g'n's way... it was a lovely display of one of my favourite Australian brands. However, this was only the start of a week that would prove itself as being one of the most fun, eye opening and inspiring...
